WFC Dynamo Moscow was founded in December 2021. The history begins!
Dynamo Moscow, as part of the club’s development strategy, decided to open a new direction within its football system – women’s football.
That is why on December 2, 2021, the creation of the Dynamo Moscow women's football club was announced.
Inside the Dynamo Academy, a multi-level vertical for the professional training of female football players will be built - from several teams of different ages and a youth team to the main women's team, which will become an integral part of the Dynamo Moscow football club.
FIFA and UEFA are taking active steps to develop women's football. The commercial potential of the main European tournaments – the World and European Women’s Championships and the Women’s Champions League – is growing. The RFU is also working purposefully in this direction. In the near future, every club playing in the Russian Premier League (RPL) will have to have a women's team in its structure.
For Dynamo, creating a structure for women’s football is not just following a global trend, but, first of all, a full-fledged sports direction, which, we hope, will give our fans new star names of students and new bright results. In the future, it is planned to involve all 6 branches of the Dynamo Academy and more than 20 football schools opened over the past year throughout Russia. The nearest plans include the opening of women's departments in the branches of the Dynamo Academy.
Since the opening of the women's football club in December 2021, the coaching, medical and administrative headquarters of the main team, youth U-21 and junior teams U-17, U-15 and U-13 have been fully formed, selection camps for all squads have been held, the main team has been strengthened in a targeted manner high-quality and promising players of national teams, youth and junior teams of Russia of different ages.
The head coach of the youth team is Sergei Lavrentyev, a graduate of the Dynamo football academy, a top-category coach who has worked in some of the best clubs in Russian women's football (WFC Chertanovo, WFC CSKA), and also led the Russian national women's team for three years. participant of Euro 2013.
The first player of the youth team of the Dynamo women's football club was 15-year-old Arina Taranchenko, who plays as a goalkeeper and defends the colors of Russian national teams of different ages, including the national women's team!
The Dynamo Sports Club also includes Russian national team players - from juniors to the main team of the country: Yulia Bessolova, Maria Galay, Irina Dricheva, Kristina Komissarova, Jose-Diana Pamen Tchato, Diana Ponomareva, Elina Samoilova, Arina Taranchenko, Alina Chistyakova, Elena Shesterneva, Valeria Azeeva, Daniella Petrova, Ekaterina Sergeeva.
Before the 2023 season, the team was joined by the first foreign players in the history of the club - Helena Bozic (Montenegro), Tijana Matic (Serbia), Fauzia Najemba (Uganda), Kaylan Williams (USA).
The first match in the history of the Dynamo Football Club, which took place at the first training camp in Turkey, ended in a crushing victory for our team over the Turkish club Konyaalti Belediyespor with a score of 17:0, and the first goal was scored by blue and white midfielder Anna Peshekhonova.
In its debut season of 2022, the Dynamo Football Club took part in the Youth League (Russian Football Championship among juniors under 21), and the next year - in the year of the 100th anniversary of our famous club - it began its journey in the top league of Russian women's football . This was officially announced on December 10, 2022. The main team was headed by Sergei Lavrentyev on December 23 of the same year.
Our club played its first official match in history on April 24, 2022 - away against WFC Krasnodar. The historic meeting ended in a draw (1:1), and the first Dynamo goal was scored by central defender Alina Chistyakova in the 67th minute. A little later, he was recognized by Dynamo fans as the best goal of the month! The first assist was scored by forward Varvara Rubtsova, who came on as a substitute and made an accurate pass from the corner to Alina Chistyakova.
The first official goal in the Super League of the Dynamo Football Club was scored on March 19, 2023 - in the victorious away match against the Yenisei Football Club (1:0), American striker Kaylan Williams scored, and Fauzia Najemba gave the first assist.
The first official match in the Russian Cup was played by the Dynamo Football Club on June 17, 2023 - in the 1/16 finals, the blue and white defeated the Strogino Football Club with a score of 11:1! Dynamo's first goal in this tournament was scored by defender Milena Nikitina. She scored the first historic double in the national cup, and Ugandan striker Fauzia Najemba scored the first hat-trick in the history of the club in the Russian Cup!
At the moment, this is the biggest victory of Dynamo WFC in official matches.
In its debut Russian Cup, Dynamo reached the 1/8 finals, where it lost to WFC CSKA (1:4).
In the 2024 season, Dynamo finished its performance in the Russian Cup in the quarterfinals, where it lost to Lokomotiv Moscow (1:2).

The first victory in official matches was won in the 2nd round of the Youth League 2022: on the home field in Novogorsk, the blue and whites defeated Ryazan-VDV (2:1), Dynamo captain Kristina Komissarova scored a double. We didn’t have to wait long for our first away victory: it was achieved already in the 4th round – in Kazan, thanks to a goal from Liana Kotelnikova, Rubin was beaten (1:0).
In the very first season, the Dynamo Sports Club won silver medals at the Youth Championship, winning 17 victories and scoring 51 goals in 24 championship games! The team's top scorer was captain Kristina Komissarova - she scored 16 goals in 22 matches. She also became the best assistant - with 8 assists, and also the best in the “goal + pass” system (16 goals + 8 assists). At the end of the 2022 season, Komissarova was recognized by fans as the best player of Dynamo, as well as the best player of the Youth Championship according to the RFU and the Women's Football League. Arina Taranchenko, recognized as the best goalkeeper of the tournament, was also included in the ranking of the best!
WFC Dynamo achieved its first victory in the Super League on March 19, 2023 - in Krasnoyarsk, thanks to the only goal of Kaylan Williams, the blue and white beat Yenisei. It also became the team's first victory in the Super League away from home.
The first home victory of the Dynamo Football Club in the Super League was won on March 25, 2023 - at the training base in Novogorsk, the blue and whites defeated Ryazan-VDV (5:0). The hero of the meeting was striker Elena Shesterneva: she scored Dynamo’s first hat-trick (and double) in the Super League, and also scored the club’s first goal from the penalty spot in this tournament.
Dynamo finished its debut season in the Super League in 5th place.

Much attention is also paid to youth women's teams in the structure of the JFK, with whom qualified specialists have also worked and continue to work - Valentina Barkova, Mikhail Kobyakov, Lyubov Komarova and Anna Khoynatskaya.
The Dynamo U-15 team, led by Barkova, has already made its mark in the Moscow Winter Championship, the group stage of the Youth Football League (YFL-girls), where the blue and white forward Ekaterina Sergeeva became one of the top scorers (10 goals in 7 matches). In the fall of 2022, the team of junior girls under 15 years old started in the Moscow Cup, in which they reached the semi-finals.
In addition, 9 football players of our junior team immediately became bronze medalists of the Russian Football Championship among national teams of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for girls under 17 years old, which took place from August 12 to August 20, 2022 in the city of Krymsk. The Moscow team, led by Valentina Barkova, won bronze medals, defeating the Krasnodar Territory team in the match for 3rd place (2:0). The girls from the Dynamo team also received individual awards: Polina Kolesnikova became the best player in the Moscow team, and Alina Khamedova was recognized as the best midfielder of the entire tournament!
Two Dynamo junior football players - forwards Daniella Petrova and Ekaterina Sergeeva - were regularly involved in training and participated in friendly matches of the main youth team, and since the 2023 season they have been playing for the youth and main teams of the blue and whites.
In January 2023, Valentina Barkova led the youth team of our club, which continued to play in the Youth League in the new season. In September of the same year, she was replaced in this post by Mikhail Kobyakov, who had previously been a member of Barkova’s coaching staff.
The youngest women's team, Dynamo U-13, also loudly announced itself in its first season. Lyubov Komarova’s wards successfully performed at their debut prestigious tournaments - Lokobol 2022 (4th place) and the Moscow Summer Championship (5th place), took part in the capital stage of the All-Russian Football Festival for Girls “We are in the Game. Summer”, won bronze medals at the Open Youth Cup 2022.
Based on the results of past tournaments, 13-year-old Ulyana Sokolova, the goalkeeper of the junior Dynamo, was called up to the training camp of the Russian U-16 national team. And this is also the success of the Dynamo football school!
In January 2023, Lyubov Komarova was appointed head coach of the Dynamo U-17 junior team (girls under 17 years old), and Anna Khoynatskaya took over the U15 girls team.
In their first season, the junior girls from Dynamo U-15, under her leadership, won gold medals at the Moscow Championship among teams of girls from sports schools born in 2010. Young Dynamo football players won 8 victories in 8 matches, and the top scorer of the tournament was 13-year-old blue and white midfielder Alena Yunusova, who scored 37 goals in 8 games!
The junior team Dynamo U-15 is the champion of the Moscow Championship among girls' teams of sports schools, born in 2010.
In April 2024, the united team of the women's department of the Dynamo Academy named by L.I. Yashina, born in 2012 and 2013, under the leadership of head coach Anna Khoynatskaya, took 3rd place at the prestigious junior tournament Lokoball-2024.
In addition to the prize, our team players also won individual awards. Margarita Putilina, who scored 7 goals at the tournament, was recognized as the best midfielder of Lokobol 2024, and Ksenia Popova was recognized as the best player of Dynamo.
