Anastasia Orlova: "We lack composure and experience in attack"

— If we abstract from the score, what didn’t work out today?

— We lacked the last pass in the final stage. There were many chances, but we didn’t convert them. Because of this, we received counterattacks and conceded goals from them.

— How would you rate the game overall? Rostov is an opponent we could and should have played against.

— We should have taken these three points and immediately converted our chances, but there were very few shots on goal, and therefore we couldn’t score. In the second half, we came out fired up, aimed at the goal, and managed to score one goal, but, unfortunately, that’s the result.

— Tell us about the goal scored and the beautiful combination that preceded it.

— I asked for a pass with my voice, and Dana Petrova handled the situation very well, passed it to me, all that was left was to convert it. I did it. Many thanks to the team for being able to score. I’m happy, but we could and should have taken three points.

— How are you going to fix the situation?

— We have been working on the final stage for quite some time now and will continue to do so. There are moments, but the final pass and the implementation itself suffer. Perhaps there is a lack of composure and experience in attack. We will work on this.
