Anastasia Shervyanina: "There was a slight jitters before the match with Spartak"

— In the last match you made your debut for the main Dynamo team. Tell me how it was.

— I was worried before the warm-up, and when I got on the field, it became easier. I was getting ready for a tough game because it's a derby.

— When did you realize that you would enter the field?

— A couple of days before the match, when Diana and Arina got sick, the coaching staff told me that I would play. I was mentally tuning in, scrolling through some episodes in my head, preparing myself for what I needed to play and help the team.

— Was there any excitement already during the game?

— There was a slight jitters at the construction, awarding and during the performance of the anthem. When the game started, with the starting whistle, everything took off like a hand.

— Share your impressions of the match from your goalkeeper position.

— In the beginning everything was fine, we scored the first goal. Then, probably, they relaxed and scored for us.

— How would you comment on the goals scored by Spartak? Could the gate have been saved?

— You can always play better and save the goal. Both defensive mistakes and my shortcomings had an impact – in the aggregate, all this led to the goals conceded.

Given the seriousness of the match and the responsibility, I think I played well: I didn't "bring", I played some of my moments. This game gave me confidence in myself, after all, this is my first match as a base, and even a derby.

— What did the coach say after the game?

— I congratulated you on your debut. Of course, we sorted out the mistakes and talked. We will draw conclusions and move on.

— There is a game with Rubin ahead. What do you think about this team?

— Rubin is a good team. I watched their last match with Rostov, in which they won. They have quick attacks, but if I lead and the team copes, then, in general, everything should be fine.

— What should we focus on in the match against Rubin?

— First of all, on attacking actions – you need to score. Secondly, not to let the opponent score against us.

— The season ends. How did it turn out for you?

— It could have been better, but, in general, all the girls did well, everyone tried.

— What are your vacation plans?

— I haven't decided yet to train according to the program and, possibly, go somewhere. And so, there are no special plans.
