The Krasnoyarsk team again failed to beat the Muscovites and again didn't score, while the blue-and-whites broke their losing streak (2:0) and took an important step towards the top three
The resumption of the season after a long break, almost a month long, was not exactly painful for Dynamo, but it required significant efforts from the blue-whites, primarily mental and volitional.
Away games on the banks of the Volga against Krylia Sovetov are never easy, and here they also had to adapt to the opponent and generally catch the game rhythm. Yes, the first pancake turned out to be a lump, if you can say that about the match of the 19th round of the championship. But for the Dynamo players, it really was almost like the first one. It was felt both in the movement on the field and in the quality of interactions between the players during the match. And the goal of the Samara team occurred largely due to the uncertain actions of our girls in defense, which are associated, among other things, with a long absence of playing practice.
Nevertheless, there is a crucial part of the season ahead and it is still possible not only to fix but also to make up for lost time. Moreover, unlike the opponents, Dynamo's calendar at the end of the season does not look deadly at all. Yes, two meetings in it stand apart — with CSKA (November 3) and Spartak (November 9), but all the others can be classified as quite working: Chertanovo, Ryazan-VDV, Zvezda-2005, Rubin and today's meeting — with Yenisei
An important point: 5 out of the 7 remaining matches will be held in the capital region, and only Perm and Kazan remain for long trips.
Yes, a lot already depends in the standings not on the Dynamo players, but on their opponents, but everything is fixable here too, considering all of the above regarding the calendar of the final part of the championship: 8 points from Spartak, which is currently in third place, look solid. But after all, no one guarantees that neither he nor Lokomotiv will lose their points at the end of a difficult season.
So, whatever one may say, the Dynamo team once again, in fact, starts a new mini-season for themselves, in which anything can happen
The game, like many others this season, started with very cautious actions from our team. A series of past failures forces our girls to start in this way: to probe the opponent and build the game based on their weaknesses. It should be said that in this meeting, the team spent almost the entire first half for such a build-up and reconnaissance.
The players under the guidance of Sergei Lavrentiev created chances, but we didn't see anything super dangerous in the first half. Yes, both Galina Gabeeva and Elena Shesternyova, who became perhaps the best in the match against Yenisei, created very good chances at the opponents' goal. But they failed to achieve the main thing — score a goal.
Paradoxically, it could have been done by a player from whom you least expect it. In the 44th minute, Jose-Diana Pamen Tchato struck her head after a corner kick so that it seemed the ball was already flying into the goal. But then the goalkeeper of Yenisei Angelina Tsirulnikova came to the fore — another indisputable heroine of the meeting. At the last moment, in some incomprehensible jump, the Krasnoyarsk goalkeeper knocked the ball away literally from the goal line and deprived Dynamo of the most real chance to score in the first half. As it turned out, this was only the beginning, because all the main events unfolded after the break
As if not wanting to postpone interesting football for a long time, the chief referee of the meeting, Marina Krupskaya, did not even bother to add anything to the first half, sending the teams to the locker rooms right after the 45th minute
And it must be said right away that the second half of the wait was justified. Moments followed one after another and, most pleasantly, from the Dynamo players. Already in the 49th minute, Tsirulnikova had to show moments of heroism again to repel the blow of the blue-and-white captain Yulia Bessolova.
She was supposed to open the scoring a little later, when, after a discount by Kaylan Williams, she missed the goal from a couple of meters.
But, as they say, we can't do it ourselves — the opponent will help. In the 64th minute, Kristina Yanushkyavichus cut the ball so unsuccessfully for her team after Shesternyova's cross that it ended up in Yenisei's own goal. It is unlikely that the Dynamo girls regretted that none of them could score this goal, but there was still some kind of injustice in this. We had to score ourselves and thereby put an end to the match.
Those who were supposed to took up this task. Gaibieva, Christina Komissarova, the same restless Shesterneva tested Tsirulnikova's vigilance time after time, but she was impeccable and literally single-handedly kept her team in the game. It got to the point that the Dynamo women scored and still the situation turned out in favor of Yenisei — Shesterneva's goal in the 83rd was not counted due to offside, into which the Dynamo striker got after Gaibieva's pass
And yet, Elena achieved her goal. In the very end, in the 89th minute, the blue and white team, after a great series of passes near the Krasnoyarsk penalty area, put Shesternyova in a striking position, and she didn't miss — she scored and literally poured out her last emotions on the field!
After a series of failures, Sergei Lavrentiev's team finally won an important victory at home and slightly approached the coveted top three. We are in the game and ahead — all the most interesting things are still to come.
