Anastasia Orlova just sent the ball into the goal of the red-whites and equalized the score
The white-blues were able to get even in the derby with the newcomer of the Youth League (1:1).
In the 11th round of the final stage of the Youth League, our youth team went to visit Spartak. The red-and-whites are currently in fifth place in the standings and it will be difficult for them to rise higher: the gap from third place before the meeting with Dynamo was 7 points, to the first - 18. The last four matches for Ivan Kvasov's team were not very successful: three defeats and one draw.
The game began without much reconnaissance. Spartak football players rushed forward, creating the first scoring opportunity already at the very beginning of the match. Our defense, not without difficulty, coped with this situation.
A few moments later, the red-and-white footballer again found herself in a scoring position, this time her shot was blocked by Anastasia Gnennaya.
Our team made its first shot on target in the 15th minute of the match, the red-and-white goalkeeper was in place. The white-blues managed to contain the initial onslaught of the home team and gradually level the game. Dynamo players were increasingly making good attacks, and all that was left was to score accurately. In the middle of the first half, Varvara Rubtsova made an amazing pass to Valeria Azeeva, which turned out to be practically a one-on-one. Valeria shot, the opponent's goalkeeper slightly dampened the force of the shot, and Spartak's defenders saved their goal. It was very close to a goal.
In the 35th minute of the match, things got heated in our penalty area, but Dynamo players' selfless play in defense prevented the ball from crossing the goal line. Just before the whistle for the break, the opponents earned the right to a penalty kick, which the white-blues handled without any problems. The result of the first half was a goalless draw.
Kristina Yakovenko in one of Dynamo's dangerous attacks
From the first minutes of the second half, Diana Faskhutdinova appeared on the field, replacing Polina Golubeva.
Almost immediately after the resumption of play, the home team earned a free kick. Ksenia Kuleshova, who had just come on as a substitute, responded to the pass and sent the ball into the net of our goal, opening the scoring in this game.
About fifteen minutes before the end of the second half, Ksenia Konovaeva lost control of her emotions and received two yellow cards in a row, leaving Spartak with a man down.
Our girls took advantage of this. Anastasia Orlova received the ball in the penalty area from Kristina Yakovenko, beautifully left the home defender out of the game, and then equalized the score in this match with an accurate shot.
The Dynamo players tried to go forward, but either time or the final pass was not enough for the winning goal.
As a result, a hard-fought draw — 1:1. We score one point and move on.
