“Dynamo” lost peace with “Krasnodar” in the Youth League match

Krasnodar is one of the brightest and most goal-scoring teams in the Youth League. In 9 starting matches, the opponents of the blue and white scored 64 goals, conceding only 4 - outstanding figures, to put it mildly. At the preliminary stage, the southerners did not feel any resistance at all, at the final stage, too, so far everything is going smoothly, however, in fairness, it is worth noting that “Krasnodar” has not yet met with real contenders for medals.

The Dynamo team in this game were able to count on Nicole Greuli, who, as it seemed, was seriously injured in the previous meeting with Lokomotiv. It turned out okay - Nicole escaped with only a soft tissue bruise and was included in the starting lineup for the match with Krasnodar. Also from the first minutes, Taranchenko, Ryzhikh, Senoyedova, Nikitina, Orlova, Petrova, Yakovenko, Razvorotneva, Azeeva and Geibieva entered the field.

The girls had a great desire to break the long unsuccessful streak and score the first points in the second stage, and this zeal was noticeable even before the game, during the traditional meeting in the central circle. And the first minutes showed that Dynamo was in no way inferior to the guests, the hosts played tenaciously in the center and constantly aggravated the situation at the opponent’s goal. A couple of times Yakovenko found herself in the penalty area, but Kristina either lacked speed or the passes were not very convenient. Nevertheless, it’s worth recording the fact that the dynamos looked more interesting.

A third of the half passed, and the black and green had not only no dangerous moments, but even no approaches to Arina Taranchenko’s goal, and the first such episode occurred only in the 16th minute, but it was quickly played out, as the ball went out of bounds fields. But “Krasnodar” would not have been “Krasnodar” if it had not properly strained the defense and the opposing goalkeeper - as confirmation of these words was Karataeva’s super-dangerous shot over the crossbar.

The blue and white team didn’t have to wait long for the answer – in almost the next attack, Nikitina shot tightly into the corner to the right of the goalkeeper, but the ball missed the post. Next was a wonderful solo pass from Geybieva, but the ball got stuck in the palisade of the Krasnodar defense and went over the line. There was also an interesting attack, with Azeeva at the forefront, but Lera was offside.

The guests also looked for their opportunities and, I must say, found them. In the 32nd minute they played a great free kick that ended with a shot hitting the post. In response, the black-greens received a counterattack with the participation of Geibieva and Razvorotneva, but Tasi’s strike turned out to be inaccurate. Krasnodar players began to put more active pressure on the opposing side of the field, forcing the hosts to make mistakes, but the blue and white defense was on alert.

At the end of the first half, Geibieva and Razvorotneva checked Sanzharovskaya, but, rather, they took her out of fear - there was no real threat to the Krasnodar goal.

The first half, dynamic and full of events, ended in a goalless draw.

The second half started just as hot as the first – as if there had been no pause. The guests could have opened the scoring already in the 48th minute, but Taranchenko came to the rescue, saving the shot well. The game was still played without a center field - the sharp attacking football definitely delighted the fans. During their next attack, the Dynamo team earned a free kick and came up with an interesting play, but Greuli's shot was blocked.

The guests were not shy about fouling and by the 54th minute they had already earned three yellow cards - especially to Nikitina, who ended up on the grass more often than others. The Krasnodar coaching staff was looking for ways to change the game and made two substitutions in a row, while Mikhail Kobyakov was still playing in the starting lineup.

Gradually, the southerners took the initiative into their hands, or more correctly, their feet, and this happened somehow unnoticed, because for the time being the game was equal with a slight advantage for Dynamo. By the 65th minute, the guests' possession had already become noticeable, and the hosts had to come up with something.

But with ideas it was not so simple. The black-and-green defense played clearly and coherently and there was no way to get past Krasnodar’s defensive redoubts. Taranchenko entered the game time after time, demonstrating miracles of jumping ability.

For the last ten minutes, a fresh Varvara Demidova entered the field, replacing Azeeva. However, things were still uneasy in the blue and white penalty area. The guests were getting closer and closer to Taranchenko’s gate, but Arina still kept it locked. Krasnodar had the real chance already in stoppage time, but the opponent’s shot never reached the target.

As a result, the game ended with the score 0:0. Dynamo scores its first points in the second stage, Krasnodar loses its first points in the championship.

The youth team has a ten-day vacation ahead, after which the blue and white will continue preparing for the Youth League matches.
