Author of the only goal Elena Shesterneva
The blue and white won in Krasnoyarsk in a very difficult game in the arena thanks to the only goal from Elena Shesterneva.
The return to the Super League almost a month after the match with Rostov at the end of March, of course, could not but affect Dynamo. First, a break for the games of national teams, then a missed tour according to the regulations - exactly three weeks have passed since the last match in Rostov-on-Don and the resumption of the championship for the blue and whites with a meeting with Krylya Sovetov in Novogorsk. Yes, a friendly match was played with one of the Dynamo junior teams, but it is clear that it was clearly not capable of fully replacing a match with any Super League team.
That’s why there was a slight tinge of anxiety before the game with the Samara team. And it only dissipated in the second half, when blue and white captain Yulia Bessolova put everything in its place with her leadership play. And if the team took its points with the outsider, it still could not avoid the loss of a key player: Fauzia Najemba was injured just before the break of the match with “Wings” and was out for an indefinite period.
Which, of course, led to changes in the composition of Sergei Lavrentiev’s team in the next game - a week later in Krasnoyarsk with Yenisei. Firstly, Diana Ponomareva returned to the Dynamo goal, who in the game with the Samara “Wings” gave up her place in goal to the young Arina Taranchenko. But if this castling was planned, then Irina Dricheva’s start instead of Nazhemba on the right edge of the attack is a forced move on the part of the Dynamo coaching staff. There's nothing you can do about it.
However, the team did not survive on losses alone before the start of the game in Krasnoyarsk. Thus, after disqualification, central defender Helena Bozic returned to duty. That's who should have missed the game the most! The Montenegrin received a red card in the first half of the match with Rostov at the end of March and missed the meeting with Krylia according to the regulations. That is, almost a whole month passed between the last official match she played in Rostov-on-Don and her return to the field in Krasnoyarsk - from March 31 to April 27! It’s good that during the international break, Helena, together with another dynamo Tanya Malesia, went to the Montenegro national team and played two matches for their team, otherwise it was time for the footballer to count this downtime in games as a full-fledged vacation.
However, even without all these introductions it was clear that the away match in Krasnoyarsk would not be easy for our team. And considering that the Yenisei Football Club is hosting its rivals on the artificial turf of the football arena, especially no one expected an easy game.
Dynamo football players during pre-match warm-up
Therefore, it is not surprising that the match as a whole turned out in the strangest way for both teams. As many nerve cells as the fans of both teams spent during this game, they probably did not lose in all the previous meetings of this season combined!
Again, the final score does not accurately reflect everything that happened on the field in Krasnoyarsk that Saturday morning. The advantage during the game was seized by one or the other, and probably even the head coaches of Dynamo and Yenisei did not have a complete picture of what the teams were playing.
The football player's game was set to be arrhythmic from the very start. It consisted in the fact that the teams alternately turned on high speeds, pressure and carried out sharp attacks one after another, then suddenly calmed down and seemed to withdraw into themselves, giving the initiative to the opponent. Sometimes what was happening on the artificial turf of the football arena in Krasnoyarsk completely turned into such chaos that it was simply impossible to say who had the advantage.
If we talk about Dynamo, the first half for the blue and white can hardly be called successful. Here are the final zeros on the scoreboard at halftime, and most importantly – another injury. This time, it seems, Irina Dricheva also suffered serious damage in the middle of the half. Ironically, she replaced another injured dynamo at the start - Fauzia Najemba, who also broke down in the first half, but in the last game with Krylia Sovetov...
Irina Dricheva left the game in the middle of the first half due to injury
And yet, understanding what happened in the second half is even more difficult than in the first. It started with a super moment from Elena Shesternyova, in which the goalkeeper Angelina Tsirulnikova miraculously saved her team. At the last moment, she played with her hand and stopped the ball practically on the goal line after Shesternyova's close-range shot. It seemed that finally, the clear favorite of the match got down to business and would do what they did in the previous match against "Krylya". But no!
The teams again started playing arrhythmic football – taking turns attacking each other's goals: "Yenisey" attacks – a lull – "Dynamo" attacks – a lull, and so on almost until the final whistle. It might have been interesting for neutral spectators to watch this, but hardly for the fans of "Yenisey" and "Dynamo".
Even the goal by the same Shesternyova, which occurred in the 62nd minute, just happened, and was not the result of any thoughtful attack by the Dynamo players. "Yenisey" defender Diana Mamedova played unsuccessfully with her head after a cross from the left by Yulia Bessolova and sent the ball straight to the center of her penalty area to the "Dynamo" forward. But she, being at the 11-meter mark, did not choose to hit the ball with power towards the goal, but elegantly sent the ball with her head like a parachute into the corner of Tsirulnikova's goal. Even the goal turned out to be strange, in keeping with the whole game in Krasnoyarsk!
And then there were such swings that, to be honest, the final score should have been a rout in favor of the Muscovites. Just consider the one-on-one breakaway by Galina Geybieva and Bessolova's shot from a few meters at the goal. In both cases, the Dynamo players made such misses that they could not believe it themselves.
It's especially a pity for Galya – after all, she entered her 50th official match for "Dynamo" in all tournaments! The first player in our club to reach this milestone. She could have made a gift for herself, but alas...
And the white-and-blues could have easily conceded as well! Here we must give credit to Bozich, who returned to defense, and to Diana Ponomareva, who has been as reliable as a rock this season. They did not concede again – already in the fourth match of the season out of five!
But the final victory of 1:0 in Krasnoyarsk is, of course, something incredible. There hasn't been such a nerve-wracking game this season yet.
