— We played a good game, in which there was a lot of fighting, we practically didn’t let the opponent do anything. Zenit did not show the level at which he can play, to put it mildly, his performance was not amazing. But we lost because of micro-episodes in which we did not finish the game or made mistakes.
Of course, the level of our championship is growing, and with each match it becomes more and more difficult to play, but in general I think that you can play and win with the leading teams in the standings.
Therefore, I want to thank my team for their dedication and the fight that we did not lose to our opponents. We could have even won if we had converted our chances. But the opponent was also more cunning, he took advantage of our mistakes, and in the end we got this result.
Of course, it was hot, it was difficult to play in such weather, but both we and Zenit played in the same conditions. We managed and, to be honest, I didn’t even think about the weather, I just wanted to go out and win.
