The Dynamo players played for the national teams of Russia and Montenegro
In the October break for national team matches, players of Moscow Dynamo took an active part.
Kristina Komissarova and Elena Shesternyova were called up to the Russian national team for friendly games against Kenya (4:0) and Haiti (2:1). The Dynamo players played in both meetings and contributed to the victories of the Russians: both Komissarova and Shesternyova scored against the Kenyan team, while the Dynamo players played a half each and did not score in the game against Haiti.
In the coaching staff of the Russian team under the leadership of Yuri Krasnozhan, there were the following Dynamo coaches: goalkeeper coach Vitaly Shadrin and rehabilitation coach Anna Stukalova.
A large group of Dynamo players — goalkeeper Arina Taranenko, defender Anastasia Gnennaya, midfielders Valeria Azeeva and Daniela Petrova, striker Ekaterina Sergeeva — went to Minsk as part of the youth team of Russia to play two friendly games with the women's youth team of that country
The matches in the capital of Belarus ended with a score of 4:0 and 6:0, respectively. In the first meeting, Taranchenko (with the captain's armband, she saved a penalty kick), Gnennaya, Azeeva, and Sergeyeva (scored a goal from the penalty spot) played. In the second meeting — Taranchenko again as the captain, Azeeva and Sergeyeva
The central defenders of Dynamo and the Montenegro national team, Jelena Božić (https://w.fcdm.ru/players/bozic-xelena/) and Tanya Malesija (https://w.fcdm.ru/players/malesiia-tania/), went to the decisive matches of their team. They had fought together for a ticket to the European Championship.
But while 19-year-old Malesija has not yet taken part in matches at this level, Božić played in both meetings. In the first meeting, which took place in Podgorica, the Montenegrins conceded after just three minutes, but they did not manage to catch up and snatch victory. Jelena played the whole match and was noted in the protocol with a yellow card received in the second half.
In the second, decisive, away game, the Balkan team lost again, this time by a large margin — 5:0, conceding three goals in the first half. Božić also played the entire match for the Montenegrin team, while Malesija never appeared on the field.
Thus, the Montenegro team ended its struggle for reaching the European Championship, which will be held next year in Switzerland
The next match of FC Dynamo will take place on November 3rd, the blue-whites will go to visit CSKA WFC.
The meeting will be held at the Sportivny Gorodok in Luzhniki and will start at 5 p.m. Moscow time
