The 18-year-old goalkeeper of the WFC Dynamo has decided to end her football career.
Ksenia Trofimova started playing football at the age of 14. Before that, she had been practicing Taekwondo for five years and doing karting and basketball for four years. She played as a wing-half and goalkeeper for the "Burevestnik" football team of the "Youth of Moscow" School of Olympic Reserve, which she graduated from.
In 2023, Ksenia Trofimova became a player for FC Dynamo Moscow, but she never played a single match in the Youth League for the blue-whites.
Ksenia announced her retirement from professional sports, deciding to focus on her studies
Kseniya Trofimova, goalkeeper of the youth team of the WFC Dynamo:
— I am very grateful for the time I spent at Dynamo. I especially want to express my gratitude to our head coach, Mikhail Yuryevich Kobyakov, for the fact that he, so to speak, "molded" me into a goalkeeper, since this position was completely unfamiliar to me before. I enjoyed both the team and the training! It was a wonderful time that I will definitely remember. Now, unfortunately, because of my studies, there is no time for football.
I wish our team victories and more goals!
We thank Ksyusha for the time spent in our club, dedication, honest and responsible attitude to work.
We wish you success in your studies and good luck in your future professional activities!
