The Dynamo youth team won against Rubin at home

The long-awaited victory of the blue and white team (1:0) in the Youth League was achieved in a match against the Kazan team

On Monday, the women's youth team of Dynamo hosted Rubin Kazan in Novogorsk. The opponents from the capital of Tatarstan are located on the 8th line in the standings, in the last five matches, Ilya Ulyanin's team has 2 wins, 2 losses and one draw. The gap between Rubin and Dynamo before this meeting was 7 points.

Youth coach Mikhail Kobyakov went to training to obtain a B coaching license, so assistant head coach Lyubov Komarova took the helm of the blue-whites in this game. In addition, Tanya Malesia and Lamunat Mustafaeva came to help our girls from the main team, and Taisiya Razvorotneva took the place in the center of attack. So there were enough changes in the youth team, which, of course, could not but affect the game of the blue and whites.

And although from the first minutes our girls tried to take the initiative, they managed to create the first dangerous moment only in the 10th minute. After a corner kick, Malesia struck with her head - the blow went just above the crossbar. Seven minutes later, Varvara Demidova decided to hit the ball from afar - powerfully, but slightly inaccurately

In the middle of the first half, Valeria Azeeva got injured in an unfortunate collision and left the field in tears. Ulyana Ryzhikh came into play instead. We can only wish Lera good health and hope everything turns out fine!

Almost before halftime, Kristina Yakovenko could have opened the scoring in this game. The opposing goalkeeper parried her accurate shot, and Lamunat Mustafaeva's follow-up hit the post

After the break, Anastasia Gnnaya appeared on the field, replacing Ksenia Skotnikova. The second half of the meeting began with an attack by our girls. A good combination involving Mustafaeva and Razvorotneva ended with a shot into the near corner by Anastasia Orlova. The opponents' goalkeeper managed to react and save her team.

In the 50th minute, the ball did end up in the Rubin goal: Gnnaya struck accurately into the far corner, but the referee recorded an offside position and disallowed the goal.

A few moments later, Mustafaeva took the game upon herself, beat two defenders at once, went for a rendezvous with the goalkeeper and struck — again over the goal! Another 100% scoring opportunity was not used by our girls.

At some point, it seemed that the Kazan players managed to move the play away from their goal. But the team of Lyubov Komarova, as it turned out, had other plans. In the 70th minute, still the same Yakovenko ran down her flank and crossed into the penalty area of the guests, where Orlova, falling down, struck in touch, creating another masterpiece — 1:0!

However, Dynamo's joy could have been short-lived. In a retaliatory attack, the Kazanka could equalize, and only the crossbar and the selfless play of the Dynamo defenders saved our team from conceding a goal

The final whistle by Karina Afanasyeva was as long-awaited as the victory of our youth team. Bravo, girls!
