The youth team «Dynamo» snatches a draw from «Rostov»!

The blue and white were able to fight back in Rostov-on-Don in the last seconds of the match (3:3)

On Sunday, Dynamo's youth team played away against Rostov. The meeting was originally supposed to take place in Novoshakhtinsk, but due to the replacement of the field, the match was moved to Rostov-on-Don.

The yellow and blue team was in ninth place before the meeting with the Muscovites, only 2 points ahead of our girls. In case of victory, the Dynamo players could have overtaken their rivals in the standings and left the last place. It is also interesting that both teams had the same results in the last five matches: three defeats, one draw and one victory. In a face-to-face meeting in July, Rostov football players beat Dynamo with a minimal score (2:1).

To the delight of fans and the coaching staff, Valeria Azeeva returned to Dynamo's squad, who had received an unpleasant injury in the previous match against Kazan Rubin. But her injury turned out to be easier than it seemed at first glance. And Dynamo's medical team did an excellent job. Tanya Malesia and Daniela Petrova, who took part in the match for the main Dynamo team against Chertanovo just yesterday, also appeared in the starting lineup

Already in the very beginning of the game, the Rostov players managed to create danger near our goal. Slightly uncoordinated actions of the Dinamo players led to an interception and the home team's striker approaching the area of Anastasia Shchervyanina. The Rostov player's shot was inaccurate, or rather, it didn't even happen at all.

Nevertheless, the yellow-and-blue continued to put pressure on the Dynamo goal, and by the 8th minute it bore fruit — Alina Komarova scored a goal after a corner kick. The second goal of the home team did not take long to wait either: there was a cross from the right flank, and Ksenia Kuchumova buried the ball under the crossbar with a touch. By the 17th minute of the meeting, the scoreboard showed 2–0 in favor of Rostov...

At first, Dynamo responded with an accurate shot by Anastasia Orlova after a free kick, but right into the hands of the goalkeeper. In the 27th minute, our girls had another good attack: Petrova received the ball, entered the penalty area, beat the defender and struck — the shot was accurate, but not strong. However, Dana corrected herself in the next attack. She skillfully dealt with opponents in the penalty area and charged into the far corner of the goal. The Rostov goalkeeper could not save it — 1–2!

The home team, apparently, was not satisfied with this state of affairs. And literally three minutes after the Dynamo goal, they restored the difference of two goals. Svetlana Vinnikova did it.

Then the game became more and more a back-and-forth battle, the ball barely stayed in the center of the field, but the initiative was still in the feet and hands of the Rostov players

After the break, Ulyana Ryzhikh appeared on the field, replacing Varvara Rubtsova. Scoring opportunities did not take long to appear.

So, in the 62nd minute, Kristina Yakovenko found herself in a striking position. The goalkeeper coped with the ball with some difficulty, and there was no Dynamo player to finish off.

Another substitution, this time forced, occurred at the end of the meeting: Shchervyanina got injured, and her place in goal was taken by Maria Leontyeva.

In the 85th minute, our girls earned the right to a penalty kick — the defender of the opponents played with her hand in her own penalty area. Dana Petrova approached the ball and struck it precisely into the corner to her right. 3-2 — and the Dynamo players rushed forward!

And they achieved their goal! Already in stoppage time, Dynamo earned the right for another 11-meter, when the goalkeeper of Rostov, Ekaterina Ulasevich, played hard on the exit against the same Petrova. The Rostov goalkeeper literally crashed into the Dynamo player, and the ball after her hit rolled into the goal, but hit the post. Nevertheless, in this moment, the chief referee of the match Kristina Varyanitsa recorded a violation of the rules and pointed to the spot again

This time, Anastasia Orlova took the penalty kick. A run-up, a shot and a goal — 3:3 on the scoreboard, the blue-whites literally snatch a draw in the very end of the game. Bravo, girls! Thanks for your spirit!
