In the match of the 6th round of the final stage of the youth championship, the white-blues lost to the Rostov team on their home field (1:2).

Just like a week ago in Kazan, the white-blues again met with their closest neighbor in the tournament table. And if thanks to the victory Rubin managed to bypass Dynamo and move to eighth place, then Rostov firmly staked out the last place for itself, having not won a single victory in the second stage.

Dynamo also has no victories, the only bright spot is a goalless draw in the match with Krasnodar, otherwise - annoying defeats. For obvious reasons, the girls' mood for this meeting was off the charts.

In addition, the recently injured Anastasia Gnennaya and Arina Volobueva returned to the starting lineup. They were sorely missed in the last matches. Another change - on the eve of the meeting, midfielder Ulyana Golovanova, who previously played for the Moscow Region UOR No. 5 Master-Saturn, was added to the youth team list. Considering the presence of Daniella Petrova and Svetlana Eliseeva on the field, a natural question arose: when to win, if not now?

However, it was the Rostov players who started the game more actively, who were not shy about pressing widely, went into the selection and generally felt confident on the field. Frankly, like they owned the field. The Dynamo players responded with a brilliant and geometrically precise combination, but Taisiya Razvorotneva did not get to the ball, and it went to the corner. After the standard play, the Dynamo players were as close to a goal as ever, but the ball went a few centimeters from the goalpost. Valeria Azeeva also had an interesting moment, but Lera's shot was too inaccurate.

As has happened more than once this season, some attacked, but others took the lead. That's exactly what happened in the match with Rostov: in the 15th minute, visiting midfielder Anna Pavlova, taking advantage of the confusion in Maria Leontyeva's penalty area, put her team ahead - 0:1.

Dynamo responded with a double shot from Razvorotneva and Petrova, but the most they could get from the episode was a corner.

The game finally opened up. Literally in the next attack, the visitors had the opportunity to double the advantage, but after a crazy powerful shot, the ball hit the crossbar.

The Dynamo coaching staff was not happy with what was happening on the field, and changes came in the first half, when in the 30th minute, Nicole Greuli replaced Ksenia Skotnikova. Towards the end of the first half, it was Greuli who had the opportunity to restore equality, but after her bicycle kick, the ball missed the post.

The clouds literally began to thicken. The Novogorsk sky turned blue-black in a matter of minutes, and expectations for the second half were anxious. Especially since the white-blues missed the second goal at the very end of the first half... To come back from 0:2 is a completely different task, but quite feasible.

If we abstract from the score, then the numbers for the first half of the meeting, on the whole, were for Dynamo: 60 to 40 percent in possession, 10-9 in shots, 3-2 in shots on target. However, this very score said otherwise.

In the second half, the game picture did not change much. The Rostov players responded to Dynamo’s attempts to recoup with their own counterplay, which was quite successful. The white-blues could not pass into the final third, the opponent covered everything.

Valentina Senoedova appeared on the field, replacing Razvorotneva. Surprisingly, being a nominal defender, Valya came out exactly in her position, that is, in the center of the attack. Gradually, the game began to improve, chances began to appear, but there was still a lack of accuracy in the final stage, and the implementation was disappointing. At least Volobueva and the same Senoedova could have scored, but each time something was missing.

In the 72nd minute, the Rostov goalkeeper made a miracle save after her own unsuccessful exit from the goal, when after a shot by Anastasia Orlova she diverted the ball to a corner.

And yet, Dynamo did not leave the field without a goal. About 15 minutes before the final whistle, the Dynamo players played a fast and beautiful combination: Azeeva launched an attack on the right flank, passed to Petrova, she rolled to the free Orlova, and Anastasia sent the ball against the Rostov goalkeeper – 1:2.

The goal scored gave the hosts confidence, the team ran to recoup with redoubled energy. However, this very energy was not enough in the end. Dynamo suffers another defeat in the final stage of the Youth League.
