"We're in the Game. Summer with the Fixies": "Dynamo" held a football festival for girls

For the third year in a row, our club takes part in an all-Russian project to popularize football and a healthy lifestyle among girls. The capital stage of the festival “We are in the game. Summer with Fixies” was organized jointly by the RFU and the Dynamo Football Club. As in previous years, it received a large number of guests - girls aged 7 to 12 years, their parents, relatives and friends.

This year, the festival coincided not only with All-Russian Football Day, a holiday established by the RFU in 2023, but also with International Children’s Day, so there were plenty of people wanting to test their football skills. If in 2022 “We are in the game. Summer" was held at the capital's Heraklion stadium, in 2023 - in Novogorsk, then in 2024 the location changed again - this time the festival guests were hosted by field No. 4 of the Luzhniki Olympic complex.

According to already established tradition, the festival consisted of two parts. The first was a football festival itself, where girls were able to get acquainted with football and try their hand at football in a fun and friendly environment, take master classes from players of the main, youth and junior teams of the Dynamo Football Club, as well as coaches of the women's department of the Academy.

The second was a football tournament, where young football players played with each other, but without division and focus on results. They were able to prove themselves and show their skills to the coaches of the Dynamo Academy.

Each team had girls from the main, youth and junior (U-18 team) composition of the Dynamo Sports Club, who were assisted by the coaches of the blue and white youth team Mikhail Kobyakov, Lyubov Komarova and Anton Antonov, as well as the mentors of the junior teams Oleg Gusev and Kristina Smirnova .

At the end of the festival, the youth and junior teams of the women's department of the Dynamo FC Academy played an exhibition match in the format of “two halves of 15 minutes each”. Despite the friendly status, the meeting took place in a tense fight and did not reveal a winner (0:0), and in the penalty shootout the Dynamo youth team was stronger.

All festival participants received memorable prizes and gifts, and were also able to take autographs and take pictures with the players of the Dynamo women's teams.

In 2024, the RFU project “We are in the game. Summer with fixies" once again united all federal districts of Russia. It is held in turn in 40 cities of the country, our club has the honor of hosting the opening festival.
