Team status
In the previous round, the blue and white went to the capital of Tatarstan, Kazan, for a match with the Rubin youth team, which still had no victories in the second stage. Just like Dynamo.
Before the meeting, good news came to the blue and white camp: for the first time this calendar year, Varvara Rubtsova and Anna Sugrobova, who finally recovered from serious injuries received last season, were included in the squad. In addition, new faces appeared in Mikhail Kobyakov’s team: 17-year-old striker Daria Popova, who moved to Moscow from Krasnodar, also went with the blue and white to Kazan.
In the first minutes of the match in Kazan, it was the Dynamo players who were sharper, who more often used the right flank of the attack - Kristina Yakovenko played great there, and Svetlana Eliseeva and Taisiya Razvorotneva also took turns. The activity in the opposing half of the field yielded results already in the 11th minute. Kazan women's goalkeeper Anastasia Us went too far out of the goal, and at the same time carried the ball straight to Eliseeva, and Sveta gracefully threw it over the Rubin goalkeeper - 0:1.
However, even before the end of the first half of the match the score became equal. In the 33rd minute, the Kazan women dispersed the attack on the left flank, after which the pass went to the center, and Elizaveta Stanovova equalized the score.
After the goal was scored, Rubin became even more active and ran forward. Maria Leontyeva, who took her place in the Dynamo goal in Kazan, came to the rescue a couple of times, but players in red uniforms appeared at her goal more and more often. Unfortunately, literally before the break the most unpleasant thing happened - the Dynamo team was allowed into the locker room. It was the Ruby team's forward Kristina Kirlasheva who sent the second goal into the blue and white goal in the 45th minute.
After the break, the Dynamo team became more active in the opponent's half of the field, carried out several interesting attacks, but they did not score any goals. Meanwhile, the game became more and more viscous - there was more fighting and martial arts in it than combination play and sharp moments.
Dynamo got a chance to save at least a draw at the very end of the match, when the home team was left with ten men after Rubin captain Yan Sazonov was sent off for a second yellow card. The blue and white made a real attack on the penalty area of the Kazan women, but, unfortunately, it ultimately did not lead to anything. We didn’t manage to score a goal, we didn’t manage to take the much-needed points from Kazan.
Failure in the game with the Kazan team extended Dynamo's winless streak in the Youth League to 7 matches (5 losses, 2 draws, goal difference 3-11).
— Rubin built a fairly tight defense, and we didn’t have many chances, although we had a territorial advantage. That's why we didn't play very effectively in attack. In the first half, we didn’t work very well in insurance, although we knew that Rubin would launch a counterattack. The opponent, in principle, did this. However, unsuccessful actions in our defense led to two goals conceded.
In the second half, we tried to win back, create pressure at the Rubin goal, but, unfortunately, we lacked quality, — said Mikhail Kobyakov, head coach of the Dynamo youth team, after the final whistle in Kazan.

The game with Kazan Rubin became a landmark game for Dynamo forward Kristina Yakovenko: the meeting in the capital of Tatarstan became the 20-year-old football player’s 50th match as part of Dynamo Moscow in official tournaments!
Christina played all 50 matches in our club’s jersey in the Youth League, starting with the debut season of 2022. In these games, Yakovenko scored 9 goals and made 9 assists.
Kristina Yakovenko played her 50th official match in Kazan as part of Dynamo Moscow
About the opponent and his head coaches, the history of the confrontation, the refereeing team
The blue and white's opponent in the 6th round, the youth team of the WFC Rostov, was formed at the end of 2020, when the main women's team appeared in Rostov-on-Don. But in the 2021 season of the Youth League, the young Rostovites did not take part, but entered the league in 2022 with 4 other debutant clubs: Dynamo Moscow, Krylia Sovetov Samara, Rubin Kazan and Khimki-UOR No. 5 near Moscow "
As we remember very well, that season became super successful for our club - the blue and white won silver medals at the youth championship. The Rostov team also performed well - Yana Chub's team finished the championship in 6th place (among 13 participants) with a zero goal difference (35-35) and only three points behind Zenit St. Petersburg, which took 4th place .
As often happens, after a successful season there was a setback in results. In the 2023 season, the yellow-blues did not perform so brightly: at the preliminary stage they took only 7th place in their group and were unable to make it to the next round, where the teams competed for the championship and medals. As is Dynamo, by the way. And although the Rostovites turned out to be stronger than the blue and whites at the final stage 9-16 (win and draw), the Muscovites were still higher. Yana Chub's team finished the 2023 season in 12th place in the standings. But this time at least with a positive difference in goals scored and goals conceded (+6).
This season Rostov is doing a little more successfully. At the first stage, the Rostov team in a group with CSKA, Ryazan-VDV and Baltika took second place (3 wins - 3 draws) and reached the final stage 1-10. But here the southerners, of course, are already having a very difficult time, primarily because of the killer calendar: in 4 matches, Rostov suffered 4 defeats from Spartak, Krasnodar, Zenit and Lokomotiv with a total score of 3 :16... It is not surprising that after such a series the yellow-blues are located on the last line of the standings - with 0 points and right after Dynamo.
We must also take into account the fact that the Rostov youth team was forced to change coaches during the season: Yana Chub, who led the youth team since its formation, took over the post of head coach of the Rostov main team on July 1 after Igor was dismissed Gavrilin. She was replaced by Evgeniy Gordikov, a 36-year-old specialist who previously worked as a goalkeeper coach in the main and youth teams of the Rostov Football Club. In general, life in the club from the south of Russia is in full swing.
As for the composition of the Rostov youth team itself, the team this season looks very even and it is difficult to single out anyone. For example, the main star of the Rostov youth team last season - striker Svetlana Vinnikova (14 goals in the Youth League 2023!) - played only 4 matches and scored 2 goals. This is understandable: the 18-year-old football player is actively involved in the base games (she has 9 matches in the Super League). As, by the way, are several other young football players: midfielder Anastasia Shalimova, forwards Vitalina Rodionenko and Anna Pavlova.
Therefore, right now the title of top scorer of the youth team is held by the experienced Tatyana Krasnova - the 29-year-old striker played only one match for the youth team, but immediately scored a hat-trick (against Ryazan-VDV - 6:0).
Despite the success of the Rostov team in matches with Dynamo last season, the advantage in personal meetings still remains with the blue and white. Of course, thanks to the silver success of the Dynamo team led by Sergei Lavrentyev in the 2022 season: then the Dynamo team celebrated two confident victories (4:0 and 3:1).
The full history of the confrontation between Dynamo and Rostov is as follows: 2 wins, 1 draw, 1 defeat, goal difference 10-6.
The main scorer of the youth Dynamo in this confrontation is midfielder Daniela Petrova (2 goals).

The new, already fifth, meeting of two clubs within the Youth League, which this time will take place in Novogorsk, will be served by a refereeing team led by Nailya Khasanova from Nizhny Novgorod, who will be assisted by assistant referees Yana Zemskova (Samara) and Daria Tikhomirova (Ekaterinburg ).
Previously, Khasanova had already worked at Dynamo matches: in the Youth League - against Zenit (0:2), CSKA (1:0) and Krasnodar (0:0); in the Super League - against Chertanovo (0:2), Zvezda-2005 (1:0) and Ryazan-VDV (3:2).
Balance of victories and defeats of Dynamo under refereeing by Khasanova: 6 matches - 3 wins, 1 draw, 2 defeats, goal difference 5-6.
