Team status
In the previous match, the white-blues hosted the leaders of the Youth League, the WFC Lokomotiv, in Novogorsk.
The railwaywomen are eager for their second championship in the youth championship in two years, and therefore the Muscovites' spirits are simply off the charts. Just look at the fact that before this meeting with the white-blues, the Loko youth team, led by Nikolai Kovardayev, had won 16 victories in a row, that is, they had won all official matches this season and had conceded only 4 goals!
It would be very naive to expect that the meeting of the season's superleader with the Dynamo women, who had won only one victory at the final stage, would unfold according to some sensational scenario for them.
That is why no one was surprised that the railwaywomen took the initiative from the first minutes. Our girls managed to hold back the attacking pressure of Lokomotiv up to a certain point, but this could not continue for long. The red-greens took the lead already in the middle of the first half - in the 24th minute, Anna Solovieva's shot from the center of the penalty area was so accurate and powerful that the white-blues' goalkeeper Arina Taranchenko, who recently recorded her 50th match for Dynamo, did not have time to react to it.
The railway workers' next goal was struck a few minutes before the break. This time, Taranchenko's jump was not enough to save the team after a long-range shot by Darya Golovina.
The second half for the Dynamo girls was similar to the first half: the girls tried to push the game away from their goal, and they succeeded for some time. Moreover, the white-blues managed to carry out several good attacks. For example, one of the approaches to the Lokomotiv goal could have ended with a goal. At that moment, Varvara Rubtsova decided to strike from outside the penalty area - it was powerful and on target, but the goalkeeper of the opponents, Ksenia Agapkina, not without difficulty, reached the ball and sent it to the corner.
And against this background, the implementation of the Lokomotiv players again came to the fore. If the Dynamo players did not use their chances, then the opponents did not allow themselves to do the same. First, Polina Pavlova got past several Dynamo defenders and made an accurate strike, bringing the score to a rout, and then in the last minute of regular time, Vladislava Butkevich set the final score in the match - 4:0 in favor of the railway workers.
The only weak consolation for Mikhail Kobyakov's charges was the excellent play of Arina Taranchenko, who in magnificent style parried the strike of the same Butkevich from the 11-meter mark. However, this did not affect the final result in any way.
— Judging by the score in the match, we can say that nothing worked out today. But in fact, we understood that we were playing with the leader, we wanted to create as many problems for them in defense as possible. The girls tried very hard and played selflessly.
The level of Lokomotiv players is quite high, and the goals they scored against us today can be called masterpieces. Three goals from a long distance, when the goalkeeper could not save. The goals are very beautiful, and it is difficult to blame anyone. I cannot blame the girls, they tried, did what they could, but today the opponent turned out to be stronger, — the head coach of the youth team of the WFC Dynamo Mikhail Kobyakov summed up the derby with the leader of the season.
For the white-blues, the defeat from the railway girls was the third in a row in the capital derbies (before that they were with CSKA and Spartak), and in total, the Dynamo girls have not been able to win for 4 matches (3 defeats and a draw).
Ahead is a trip to the south of the country and a meeting with another leader of the Youth League. This time from Krasnodar.

About the opponent, the history of the confrontation and the sensation from Dynamo, the refereeing team
The opponent of the white-blues in the 13th round will be another favorite of this season - the youth team of the WFC Krasnodar. It has existed since 2020 and can already boast of great successes: the championship in the First League (2020), bronze medals of the Youth League (2021, 2023), the Cup of the Krasnodar Territory (2021).
The only season when the team from the south of Russia did not win anything was in 2022, but even then the Krasnodar team performed well: they took 5th place in the Youth League with 13 participants, winning a record 13 victories and gaining 44 points.
This season, "Krasnodar" is doing just great. Evgeniy Ptashnikov's team has not only practically secured medals for itself, but under certain circumstances, it can even fight for gold. The gap to the leading Lokomotiv is 7 points, but the teams still have 5 matches ahead, including a face-to-face meeting in Krasnodar, where the fate of the 2024 championship title will most likely be decided.
But it is too early for Krasnodar to think about this, because they have a meeting with Dynamo ahead of them - the team that became the first to take points from Krasnodar during this season. On June 30, the southerners who came to visit Novogorsk could not do anything with the Dynamo defense and were content with only a goalless draw. Which, of course, did not please either the players, coaches, or fans of the Krasnodar team. After all, before this meeting, Krasnodar was not just confident in the championship, but literally rolled over its opponents: 9 wins in a row with a goal difference of 64-4! And so they ran into a wall in the form of the Dynamo defenders, for the first time this season, they were left without scoring goals.
This looks even cooler if you consider that this year only three teams have taken points from Krasnodar: Dynamo (0:0), Lokomotiv (1:0) and Rubin (2:2). However, it should be noted that all these troubles happened to Krasnodar away from home, but at home they are completely inhospitable and merciless to their opponents.
Of course, that goalless draw that ended the match in Novogorsk in June looks if not sensational, then certainly unexpected. It is enough to simply look at the statistics of goals scored by Krasnodar football players:
– midfielder Adelina Pestretsova (18 years old) – 11 goals
– midfielder Yulia Beletskaya (17 years old) – 10 goals
– defender Alena Panteleeva (19 years old) – 9 goals
– forward Sofia Denisko (16 years old) and defender Milena Boldyreva (21 years old) – 8 goals each
– forward Anastasia Karataeva (17 years old) – 7 goals
In fact, it would take a long time to list the Krasnodar players who have distinguished themselves this season – there are already 16 of them. For comparison, there are only 9 such players in the Dynamo youth team this season, and the top scorers Galina Geybieva, Anastasia Orlova and Kristina Yakovenko have only scored three times each.
There are representatives of the Krasnodar youth team in our team too. Former ones, of course. Forward Darya Popova, who only recently joined the white-blues, has been playing for the Krasnodar club's youth team since 2021.
As for the history of personal meetings between the two clubs, here too Dynamo and Krasnodar have a very special football relationship. Over three years of confrontation, the Krasnodar and Muscovites have met at the level of the main and youth teams 8 times. If the Dynamo main team has 3 wins in 3 matches over Krasnodar and not a single (!) goal conceded, then for the youth teams it is the opposite - the white-blues have never defeated the southerners in the Youth League: 3 draws and 2 defeats, goal difference 4-8.

The new meeting between Krasnodar and Dynamo in the Youth League will be officiated by a team of referees headed by Kristina Varyanitsa from Sochi, who will be assisted by assistant referees Elena Polikarpova (Tambov) and Sofia Ryzhonkova (Krasnodar).
Varyanitsa has previously worked at Dynamo matches in the Youth League – against Krylia Sovetov (1:1) and Zenit (0:4).
The balance of victories and defeats of Dynamo with Varyanitsa as referee: 2 matches – 0 victories, one draw and one defeat, goal difference 1-5.
