Team status
The previous match, in which the white-blues hosted Krylia Sovetov in Novogorsk, took place more than two weeks ago, back in early August. By the time of the meeting with the Samara club, Dynamo had collected a sad series of defeats and draws - only 12 matches without a win, starting from mid-May. Mikhail Kobyakov's charges had a new chance to break the protracted failures with a team occupying the seventh line of the tournament table, which this season already had, for example, a victory over Spartak and a draw with Zenit. Several players from the main team traditionally went to help the youth team: goalkeeper Arina Taranchenko, defenders Jose-Diana Pamen Tchato and Milena Nikitina. Nevertheless, the first minutes of the meeting showed that the opponent is not at all simple and it will be problematic to open the guests' defense. And the Volga team had interesting options in attack, mainly through the left flank.
It is worth noting that both teams did not sit in defense, but played openly and widely, running away in quick attacks at the first opportunity, so the ball often ended up with one goalkeeper, then the other. The football players tried to shoot at every opportunity - both from close range and from afar, but the goalkeepers objectively played well in this match.
Gradually, the hosts finally took control of the ball and began to escalate the situation at the Krylia goal. However, as has happened more than once this season, there was a lack of implementation in the final stage. As a result, the teams left for the break without scoring goals.
The beginning of the second half of the match was also left to the Dynamo players. The white-blues rushed forward, earned a couple of set pieces, shot dangerously at the goal, but did not play for a goal.
However, the guests did not want to put up with this situation and used their opportunities to the maximum. Gradually, the game moved to the home team's half of the field, where substitute Ekaterina Nikiforova showed herself brilliantly, threatening Taranchenko's goal time and again.
Dynamo's main moments in the second half were created by one player - Daniella Petrova. First, in the 78th minute, she actually found herself one-on-one, but for some reason she went too far to the right and shot inaccurately, although the visiting goalkeeper had already been saved. And in the next episode, the midfielder earned a penalty and calmly converted it herself, finally opening the scoring and putting the white-blues ahead.
But the heroes of the end of the match for Dynamo were Arina Taranchenko and the crossbar of her goal - first, the goalkeeper herself pulled the dead ball out from under the crossbar, and then the players of Samara's Krylia hit the crossbar twice! Nevertheless, although difficult, but the first victory of Dynamo after a long wait happened and was absolutely deserved.
The emotions of the author of the only goal in this game Daniella Petrova immediately after the match are understandable:
— The match was very difficult. We prepared for the opponent, but Krylia played great on their half of the field. Many things did not work out, there were many unforced losses, but we held out and won. I had very bright moments, but I was unable to realize them. They all happened somehow unexpectedly. However, we deserved this victory, earned a penalty and scored.
We waited for this victory for a long time, we could not win, and finally it happened!
After a goalless draw with Krasnodar at the end of June, Dynamo finally scored a full three points in the final stage and moved to 9th place in the tournament table.
This was all the more important given that the white-blues have a very difficult month ahead in the championship: away matches with Master-Saturn, Spartak and Krasnodar, and home matches with CSKA and Lokomotiv. It is obvious that it will be even more difficult to score points in these games than in the last matches.

About the opponent, history of the confrontation, refereeing team
The opponents of the blue-whites in the 9th round are the women's youth team of the Olympic Reserve School (ORS) No. 5 "Master-Saturn", which since 2022 has been based in Yegoryevsk, near Moscow. It was then that the history of participation of the team from the Moscow region in the Youth League began. However, back then the team was called a little differently - "Khimki-ORS No. 5".
Those "Khimki" debuted in that season in the youth championship together with the WFC Dynamo, but the players from the Moscow Region did not perform as successfully as the Muscovites. The players under the guidance of 41-year-old Dmitry Kudryashov, who now heads the youth team of "Master-Saturn", took 9th place in the Youth League in 2022 (out of 13 participants).
Surprisingly, the following year, Kudryashov's team, which received its current name, absolutely repeated its last year's result. Moreover, it did so despite the new regulations according to which the youth championship was played out then: the club from the Moscow region took 5th place in its group B, beating, by the way, Dynamo Moscow, and went to play in the final stage for places 9-16 together with other 7 teams that did not make it into the first four of their groups
Well, here the girls from Yegoryevsk performed brilliantly: they won 8 out of 8 matches, 5 of them were major wins, with a total goal difference of 29-1. And they deservedly became the best team at this stage, which brought them the already familiar 9th place in the Youth League.
This season, the team from the Moscow region is also performing quite well. The players coached by Kudryashov took 2nd place in group B, ahead of the youth teams of Chertanovo and Ural, and losing only to Spartak. Accordingly, they advanced to the final stage of 1-10, where they play against the top teams of the Youth League and seem ready to finally rise above the 9th place at the end of this season.
Interestingly, the performances in the final stage began with three consecutive defeats for the Moscow Region team, but we need to consider the level of their opponents: Zenit (0:1), Lokomotiv (3:5), Krasnodar (1:4). Two of these three matches, Master-Saturn played away — in St. Petersburg and Krasnodar. So everything was more or less understandable.
But then a real sensation happened — a home victory over the current league champion ZFK CSKA (2:1)! Moreover, it was a hard-fought victory, because the guests opened the scoring as early as the 29th minute. Inspired by this success, the players from Yegoryevsk then won twice more — at home against Krylya Sovetov (3:1) and away against Rostov (2:1), and drew with Rubin (1:1) away. Thus, Master-Saturn approaches the match against Dynamo in great shape and excellent mood. Considering the two-week break of the Dynamovtsy without games, it will be very difficult for Mikhail Kobyakov's team to get into the game with an opponent who has gained such momentum
The main stars of the Master-Saturn youth squad are:
- 19-year-old defender Sofya Nemtseva, who scored 8 goals in 12 matches;
- attackers — 16-year-old Anastasia Chernousova, 19-year-old Valeriya Kuznetsova and midfielder 16-year-old Anna Shipulina (all scored 3 goals each);
- and 18-year-old midfielder Margarita Litvinenko, who scored 2 goals.
All girls are graduates of a Moscow region club.
There is also a graduate of a Moscow region club in the Dynamo youth team. Midfielder Ulyana Golovanova joined the Dynamo club in July this year, and before that she played for both Master-Saturn and Khimki-UOR No. 5. So far, the 16-year-old football player has not played for our team, but perhaps it will be her debut against her former club for the blue-whites.
In addition to her, another Dynamo football player, striker Aigul Bagautdinova, played for UOR No. 5 «Master-Saturn» in 2022–2023.
If we consider the predecessor of the current Master-Saturn as the Khimki-UOR №5 team, then the youth Dynamo met with the Moscow region club four times already: in the 2022 season, the blue-white won at home in Novogorsk 3:1 (doubles by Kristina Komissarova and goal by Kristina Yakovenko), and away in Kratovo, where Khimki hosted their opponents at the sports base, they won even more 4:1 (doubles by Irina Dricheva, goal by Liana Kotelnikova and own goal of the opponents). But then these were meetings of completely different teams, and this applies to Dynamo to a greater extent
In the 2023 season, Dynamo and UOR No. 5 Master-Saturn exchanged home wins: in Yegoryevsk, the Moscow Region players were stronger — 3:1 (goal scored by Dynamo: Anastasia Orlova), in Novogorsk, the Dynamo players took revenge — 2:1 (double by Ekaterina Sergeeva).
Thus, Dynamo retains the advantage in the history of personal meetings: 4 matches — 3 wins, 1 defeat, goal difference 10-6
Kristina Yakovenko scored against the Moscow Region team back in 2022, when it was called Khimki-UOR No. 5
The first match of this season between Master-Saturn and Dynamo in the Youth League will be officiated by a team headed by Ksenia Goryacheva from Ryazan, who will be assisted by assistant referees Irina Chechenina (Cherepovets) and Elena Shnyrova (Tyumen).
Goryacheva previously worked at Dynamo matches: in the Youth League - against Yenisei (2:1), Rostov (3:1), Sochi (2:0) and twice against Zenit (3:2 and 0:2); in the Super League - against Rostov (2:0), CSKA (1:3) and Zenit (0:2).
Dynamo's win-loss record with Goryacheva as referee: 8 matches - 5 wins, 3 losses, goal difference 13-11.
