Team status
In the previous match, the white-blues hosted the current champions of the Youth League, WFC CSKA, in Novogorsk. Although the army team is unlikely to repeat their success last year, they are 12 points behind the leader Lokomotiv, but they are definitely ready to fight for medals.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the visitors took the initiative from the first minutes of the match, and our girls were counting more on playing in counterattacks. However, in the first half, there were no truly dangerous moments.
But in the 35th minute, after a protracted attack by the army footballers, Dynamo goalkeeper Arina Taranchenko had to come to the fore. CSKA could and should have scored twice in a row, but our goalkeeper had her own plans for this: Taranchenko twice demonstrated incredible reaction, blocking two shots at once almost point-blank range and tearing off applause from the stands.
There were no more dangerous moments before the break, but Dynamo left the field for the locker rooms with anxiety: during the entire first half, the white-blues did not make a single shot on target, while their opponents had five such shots, plus real scoring opportunities with the participation of Taranchenko.
During the break, Dynamo head coach Mikhail Kobyakov made adjustments to both his team's play and the lineup. Thus, Valeria Azeeva came onto the field instead of Anastasia Gnennaya.
The white-blues actively started the second half of the match, trying to take possession of the ball and seize the initiative. Dynamo made a good attack in the 55th minute: Kristina Yakovenko made a great run into the visitors' penalty area and crossed, CSKA goalkeeper Ulyana Obukhova managed to react and block the ball, and Lamunat Mustafayeva, who could have opened the scoring, unfortunately, did not have time to finish off.
A few minutes later, things got heated at the Dynamo goal. First, Taranchenko went too far out of the goal, but the Dynamo defenders covered her. And then, after a free kick, they still couldn’t avoid a goal: Arina couldn’t hold the ball and let it go straight into her own net. This happened in the 58th minute of the match, and already in the 66th, another success for the army footballers was brought by a free kick. After a pass from CSKA captain Anastasia Pecherskaya, Maya Chizhevskaya was the first to the ball, who sent it into Taranchenko’s goal with one touch.
Of course, the Dynamo players didn’t stop playing after that: the last minutes of the match can hardly be called an assault, nevertheless, attacks on the CSKA goal followed. However, the white-blues failed to score in this match, the game in Novogorsk ended with a victory (0:2) for the current champions of the Youth League.
— We are working on tactical actions, we are doing well, but due to fatigue, gaps start to appear and the number of mistakes increases. We are getting unnecessary goals that do not follow from the course of the game. After that, it is difficult to psychologically rebuild.
The first half was not bad, but we did not realize our potential. Although we had opportunities. I can say that the girls did everything they could. They tried, and the level of dedication was very high, — the head coach of the youth team of the WFC Dynamo Mikhail Kobyakov said about the reasons for the defeat of his players.
The white-blues have already suffered their 7th defeat in the final stage of the Youth League and are still at the bottom of the standings at this stage of the championship. Ahead is a new capital derby with a newcomer to the youth championship and one of the most principled rivals.

About the opponent, the history of the confrontation and new rematches, the refereeing team
The opponent of the white-blues in the 11th round will be another capital team - WFC Spartak, which is holding its first season in the Youth League.
In its current form, Spartak appeared in January 2022, when the creation of a youth women's team was announced, which took part in the First League and took 3rd place in the Moscow zone. Later, in October 2023, the appearance of the main team in the structure of the women's football club Spartak was announced. The youth football players also became part of it, and they are still playing for both teams.
Despite the status of debutants in the Youth League, the young Spartak players have already shown a good result for their first season at this level. Thus, the team led by 29-year-old Ivan Kvasov, who had previously worked in the youth team of the Ryazan-VDV Women's Football Club, overcame the resistance of such difficult opponents as Master-Saturn, Chertanovo and Ural, and took first place in Group B. At the same time, the red-whites never lost: they have 3 wins and 3 draws, a goal difference of 8-2, and in 4 games out of 6 they did not concede a single goal.
Spartak also started the second stage of the youth championship successfully - with the same score of 3:1, they first beat Rostov at home, and then the youth Dynamo away. It would seem that in their debut season, the red-whites would even be able to compete for medals in the Youth League, but it was after the victory over the white-blues that the Spartak youth team began to have serious problems.
In the next 7 matches, Kvasov's team managed to win only one victory - they sensationally beat Zenit away (1:0), but overall it would be hard to call this period successful. In addition to this victory in St. Petersburg, the red-and-whites suffered 4 defeats, including big ones from CSKA, Krasnodar (both 0:3) and Lokomotiv (1:5), and two draws. And Spartak are approaching the new meeting with Dynamo with a 4-match winless streak and with a ghostly chance of fighting even for bronze medals. Spartak is currently 7 points behind Zenit, which is third in the league table, and 11 points behind Krasnodar...
Nevertheless, Spartak girls are still motivated to fight to the very end: they are ahead of not only Lokomotiv, Krasnodar and Zenit, but also CSKA. And Spartak girls would, of course, really like to get ahead of the red-blues at least at the youth level in their first season. Especially since all the matches with their direct competitors are still ahead of them.
The main stars of Spartak's youth team are defender and the team's top scorer (!) 19-year-old Lyalya Kholmatova, who scored 4 goals in 15 matches, forwards 19-year-old Elizaveta Petrun'kina (3 goals), 16-year-old Valeria Kondakova and 21-year-old Kristina Petkus (2 goals each), and the main goalkeeper is 21-year-old Diana Novikova (10 matches, 9 goals conceded, 4 clean sheets).
As always, we highlight young players who already have experience playing not only for the youth team, but also for the main team of the club. There are four of them in Spartak's youth team: in addition to the same Petkus (7 matches for the main team in the Super League and Winline Cup of Russia), these are midfielders 17-year-old Anastasia Kolokolchikova (2 matches) and 19-year-old Ksenia Konovaeva (12 matches), as well as forward 21-year-old Ksenia Kuleshova (3 matches, 1 goal).
If we talk about the history of the confrontation between Dynamo and Spartak in women's football, then this will be only the second official meeting of the two teams. We already talked about the first: on June 14, the red-and-whites won a confident victory in Novogorsk - 3:1. Then Spartak (Kholmatova) were the first to open the scoring, the white-blues equalized at the end of the first half thanks to a precise penalty kick by Anastasia Orlova, but in the second half the red-whites sent two more goals into Arina Taranchenko's goal (Miroslava Karmadonova and Petrunkina scored).
Incidentally, with this victory the Spartak footballers took revenge on Dynamo for the defeat in a friendly match during the pre-season training camp in Turkey. On February 17 of this year, the Dynamo youth team beat Spartak with a score of 2:0, and Taisiya Razvorotneva and Daniella Petrova scored for our team.
So now it is the turn of the white-blues to take revenge on Spartak - but at the official level.

The new meeting between Spartak and Dynamo in the Youth League will be officiated by a team headed by Marina Krupskaya from Novouralsk, who will be assisted by assistant referees Anna Garkusha (Yekaterinburg) and Yulia Videneyeva (Kazan).
Krupskaya has previously worked at Dynamo matches: in the Youth League - against Khimki-UOR No. 5 (4:1) and Zvezda-2005 (4:1); in the Super League - against Zenit (0:2), CSKA (1:2) and Yenisey (1:0).
Dynamo's win-loss record with Krupskaya as referee: 5 matches - 3 wins, 2 losses, goal difference 10-6.
