Sergey Lavrentiev's wards played their previous match in Novogorsk against Ryazan-Airborne Forces, with which our team already had big problems in the first round. Then in Ryazan, our girls lost 0:2 during the match, but they were able not only to recoup, but also to snatch victory in the last minute of regular time. The victory for the blue and white was brought by Helena Bojic, who joined the standard position draw in time.

Dynamo's home match against the Ryazan team turned out to be no less dramatic and difficult. The debut of the meeting was marked by a series of standard positions performed by Ryazan-Airborne Forces. Knowing how the Ryazan team can use them, it became alarming from the very first minutes. However, by the 10th minute the situation had changed a lot: in terms of the number of moments, Dynamo had an obvious advantage, but as usual it was not easy to implement. At least one of the two moments should have ended with a blue-white goal when the kickThe defenders of Ryazan-Airborne took out Tiany Matic literally from the ribbon of the gate.

The series of missed opportunities continued almost throughout the first half. Occasionally, the guests also snapped, but the Dynamo defense acted clearly and unmistakably.

Again, it became alarming for the game of our team closer to the break, when the game of both teams completely drooped, and Dynamo football players had too many losses and marriage in transfers. Nevertheless, there were no goals in the first half of the meeting.

The second half was a complete antipode of the first, which has happened more than once in matches involving Dynamo. At the same time, the guests from Ryazan started the scoring extravaganza. — We didn't start the game very actively, although, in general, we controlled the situation. We conceded a goal after the break and only then woke up. They turned on their aggressive actions, their fast players, began to deliver the ball more to the opponent's penalty area, which gave the result.

It is important that the team showed character. During the break, we focused on this, what should be added in aggression, in attack. Plus, the permutations and substitutions worked well – thanks to them we were able to put the squeeze on the opponent.

Of course, the mood is good. Victory gives new emotions and new strength. We are trying and moving on," said Sergey Lavrentiev, the head coach of Dynamo Football Club, in the post—match commentary.

Kaylan Williams, the author of the Dynamo victory ball, also shared her emotions from the match and its dramatic outcome.:

— It's always great to win, even if we snatched the victory in the last minutes. The main thing is that we scored three points. My opinion is that we played good football in the first half. Everything was going well, but it was not possible to complete the attacks. Of course, there were a couple of shots, but they didn't lead to goals.

We started the second half as if slowly. The opponent managed to put pressure on us and score a goal. I think it was at that moment that we readjusted, the focus shifted towards the attack, and we were able to earn a penalty. Elya Samoilova realized it, which gave us emotions, and we had enough of them until the very end, for 20-25 minutes before the end of the meeting.

I remember the May match in Ryazan, when we won 3-2, although we lost 0-2 in the first half. It turns out they made a comeback. Wildness, to be honest!

Maybe the next match with them will turn out like this again, but, most importantly, we finished this meeting with three points.

After this victory, Dynamo beat Spartak in the standings and was only two points behind third place. True, this situation did not last long: Spartak and Lokomotiv won their victories in the same round and the status quo was restored. The blue and white returned to the 5th line, and the gap from the third place, which is now occupied by the railwaywomen, is still 5 points.

The teams have 4 more matches ahead of them, including face-to-face meetings of Dynamo with Spartak and Lokomotiv with red and white, in which the fate of the bronze medals of the championship will surely be decided.

Since 2020, when the Major League was transformed into a Super League, Zvezda 2005 has won championship medals only once - in the same 2020, it became the bronze medalist of the tournament. In the next season-2021, the "stars" remained outside the top three, taking 4th place, in the seasons-2022 and 2023 they also could not participate in the fight for medals, taking 6th and 4th places, respectively.

It is not easy for Elena Suslova's wards this season either. Nevertheless, the Perm club remains, in fact, the only pursuer of Dynamo. With an asset of 29 points and 9 points behind the blue and white, the Permians can still displace our team from the 5th place, which it currently occupies. But dynamovki in case of victory over Zvezda-2005 in the next match will definitely secure a place not lower than fifth in the Super League-2024. So the game can be quite stressful.
