Today is the birthday of Fauziya Najemba, forward for WFC Dynamo.
Fauziya was born in a small town in Uganda and at the age of 18 left her home country for Kazakhstan. There, as part of WFC BIIC-Shymkent, Najemba won the national championship and also took silver medals at the RZD International Cup in 2022.
At just 16 years old, the forward made her debut in the Ugandan national team: her playing career included appearances at the Africa Cup of Nations and in the qualification for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
In January 2023, Fauziya became a player for Dynamo Moscow. Since then, the blue-and-white forward has played 35 matches for our club and become one of the top scorers: she has 13 goals and 8 assists for the first team.
