On Thursday, WFC Dynamo midfielder Irina Dricheva celebrates her birthday.
Irina began her football career in the Far East, and at the age of 9 she moved to Moscow to study at the Chertanovo Football Academy. Here she managed to play in almost all positions, except for central defender and goalkeeper, win a huge number of team and personal awards and, finally, in January 2022, become a player of Dynamo Moscow.
Dricheva's first season in our team was very bright: 23 matches in the Youth League, 8 goals and 7 assists! Three times Ira was recognized by Dynamo fans as the best player of the month, two of her goals were the best goals of the month. Together with the team, she won silver medals in the youth championship. In June 2022, she was invited to the training camp of the Russian national team, during which she took part in a friendly match with the CSKA Women's Football Club (3:1). For 15-year-old Dricheva, the game was her debut as part of the country's main team!
Together with the white-blues, Irina debuted in 2023 at the highest level: in the Super League and the Russian Cup. In total, Dricheva has 49 matches for Dynamo in all tournaments, 13 goals and 11 assists.
