Dynamo defender Maria Digurova celebrates her birthday on Wednesday.
Maria was born in Vladikavkaz, where she started playing football. The pupil of Vladikavkaz Dynamo started her career in professional football in Voronezh. Here, as part of the local Energia, a 16-year-old football player played her first match in the Russian top league.
There are several major league clubs in Maria's football biography: Donchanka (Azov), Lokomotiv (Moscow), Torpedo (Izhevsk), Zenit (St. Petersburg). In the 2015 and 2016 seasons, as part of Donetsk, Digurova won the gold of the first division of Russia, and in 2021, together with Zenit, she won the bronze medals of the Super League and reached the final of the Cup of Russia.
In January 2023, Maria joined Dynamo and immediately became the main defender of our team: she has 46 matches in the Super League and the Winline Cup of Russia, four assists.
