Sergey Lavrentyev: "We don't expect an easy walk in Samara"

The head coach of the WFC Dynamo talks about the upcoming match with Krylia Sovetov Samara.

— The team will play its first official match in about a month. In what functional state is Dynamo approaching the game with Krylia?

— We are approaching the game in good condition – both psychologically and functionally. We had a good training camp and are looking forward to the upcoming match.

— Were you able to psychologically reboot after a series of defeats?

— I think so. The team has a good atmosphere, a good mood, so I am sure everything will be fine.

— What do you think about Krylia Sovetov? What kind of game are you expecting?

— As usual, we are expecting a difficult game. We do not have easy matches – if you look at the championship, all the games are difficult, so we do not expect an easy walk.

We see how Krylia are getting stronger, how they work, but we are going to Samara for a victory.

— Krylia recently changed their head coach. What kind of football does this team play now?

— Indeed, a lot has changed. With the arrival of any coach, both the style and the pattern of the game change. "Krylia" changed both the game model and the positions of some players on the field, and strengthened themselves in certain areas. I repeat - everything will be decided on the football field.

— How are things in our team?

— The same players are injured, we still have a large number of losses. However, we look forward with optimism, we have already gotten used to it, we are looking for new combinations and variations. We are preparing for the upcoming match with the lineup we have.
