— A lot of things didn’t work out for us, but I agree that the derby was a success. You could feel the tension, the heat in the game, there was a lot of struggle.
What is the reason for our defeat? Making so many simple turnovers on simple passes and running without the ball the whole game is always difficult.
Of course, we are no longer newcomers to the Super League, unlike Spartak. We have experienced players who have played at a high level and become champions. But that’s how this game turned out. Again, when a player gives a simple pass into touch, and not to his own, it is difficult to show something in attack.
We need to figure it out, it’s possible that excitement played a role, because everyone wanted to win and understood the significance of this match. We hope that all the injured players will recover and we will move on.
