The blue and white defender talks about her debut for Dynamo, the training process and the upcoming 1/8 final match of the Winline Russian Cup with the Tambov Football Academy.
— In the match with Zenit you made your debut for the Dynamo main team. Share your impressions.
— To be honest, I didn’t expect that my debut would take place in a match with such a strong opponent as Zenit, but no one knows when your chance will come. I train hard and am grateful for this opportunity. I don’t want to disappoint the coaching staff, so I’ll make even more efforts in training to get on the field as often as possible.
— What did the coach say before you appeared on the field?
— He wished me luck, said that he believed in me, that I shouldn’t worry, but play the way I know and can do. I was very inspired when I entered the field, I was ready to give my all.
Unfortunately, we lost, which is why I have mixed feelings. No matter what, you need to move on and train well.
— In the game with Zenit, you felt the real level and real strength of the Super League. How do you like the Russian Championship?
— Of course, I immediately felt the difference between the Youth League and the Super League - it is simply huge. There are a lot of fast players in the Super League, all professionals, so you need to put in more effort against them, since the level of resistance is also greater. It seems to me that I generally coped with this situation, besides, when you play in the Super League, you feel more confident and professional.
— Tell us about the training process, teammates and coaches.
— I like our workouts, they are interesting, varied and quite energy-intensive, which is good. This provides additional motivation and incentive for development. We have a professional coaching staff who are comfortable to work with, everyone meets us halfway and helps us in everything. I also love girls, we have a good team. When there is such an atmosphere in a team, work becomes easier.
— Have you already seen Moscow?
— I really like Moscow, it’s a beautiful city. Despite the fact that I live in Zelenograd, I sometimes go to Moscow, walk along the streets of the Russian capital, and learn something new.
— What professional goals do you set for yourself for the season?
— As I already said, the main professional goal is to get more playing practice in the main team. As for the team, it’s a fight to get into the top three at the end of the season.
— The match of the 1/8 Winline of the Russian Cup is ahead. What do you think about this game?
— I hope I can take part in it and we win. Of course, the magic of football lies in its unpredictability, but I'm sure not this time.
