The defender of the blue-and-white team shared her impressions of the victory over Chertanovo (2:0) and also talked about the recovery process after her injury
— Today was your first match after a long injury. How did you feel on the field?
— I was very happy to be back on the field after my injury. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our medical staff, as well as my coach Milan Veselinovic, who was in touch with me every day and helped me both physically and psychologically.
Talking about the match, it was a difficult game. I came back to the field after an injury, and my coach believed in me, supported me and showed patience during my recovery. I'm glad to be back! And I'm doubly glad that we won. Now it's especially important.
— How difficult is it to enter such a game, especially when the team plays with a man down?
— Of course, the feelings are not the most ordinary, after all, there is a difference — we were playing without one person. However, it was very important to play tactically correctly and fight for each other. It's not easy, but if you feel confident on the field, there will be no problems.
— What did your coach say to you before letting you onto the field?
— To enjoy the game, be myself and play as best I can
— Tell me a little more about your recovery process. When did you return to the general group?
— It happened last week. At first, they didn't give me such high intensity, but already this week, when we started preparing for "Chertanovo", I began to gain momentum and the workload increased.
Psychologically, I was ready because my mind is ready for anything. I told myself that I am healthy and ready. I just said to myself that I had rested for a long time, and now it's time to get to work — this approach worked. I didn't think about the injury, only about getting back on the field as soon as possible.
— How do you feel now? Are you ready for the rest of the season?
— Of course. I can say that I'm ready. I believe in myself and my team. We can do a lot!
