She was born in Izhevsk, where she began her football career. A graduate of the Izhevsk "Zhemchuzhina", the first women's team in the capital of Udmurtia, and its first coach, Farit Galeev, is considered the founding father of women's football in Izhevsk.
At the age of 15, Yulia moved to Voronezh “Energia”. As part of this club, she made her debut in the top league of Russian women's football (in total, she played 12 matches in 2008-2010).
From 2011 to 2014, Bessolova played for the Moscow CSP Izmailovo, where she scored her first goal at the highest level - on April 26, 2012 against the WFC Mordovochka.
However, Yulia Bessolova spent most of her career in another capital club - WFC Chertanovo. Here the football player played 9 seasons – from 2015 to 2023. She has more than 150 matches and two dozen goals for Chertanivka, silver and bronze medals at Russian championships, and reaching the final of the National Cup.
Bessolova played for the youth and student national teams of Russia. As a member of the student team, she won the silver medal at the 2015 Universiade in South Korea. She made her debut in the Russian national team on July 18, 2013 - in the Euro 2013 match against the Spanish national team (1:1)! In total, she played 10 matches for the women's national team.
Since January 2024, he has been a player for Dynamo Moscow. Captain of the first team in the 2024 season.
On April 20, 2024, she scored her first goals for the blue and white - she made a double against the Krylia Sovetov Football Club (3:1).
