A graduate of the UOR city of Zvenigorod (Moscow Region). She made her debut at the adult level in 2009 for the WFC Zvezda, which was then playing in the top league of Russian women's football. After two seasons, Koltakova left her home team and moved to another Moscow Region club, Rossiyanka, where she won gold (2011/12) and silver (2012/13) medals in the Russian championship. Koltakova's career also included Krasnogorsk "Zorky" (2015 - bronze of the Russian championship), WFC "Donchanka" (Azov, 2016-2017), "Ryazan-VDV" (2018-2020), with which Nadezhda again became the champion of Russia (2018), twice reached the final of the Russian Cup (2018, 2019) and played in the UEFA Champions League (1/16 finals in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons).
Since 2021, Nadezhda Koltakova has played for WFC Rostov, in total she has 86 matches, 11 goals and 3 assists for the Rostov club.
The footballer also played for Russian national teams of different ages: the U-17 junior team, the U-19 youth team, as part of which she took part in the 2011 European Youth Championship and scored the first goal for the Russian youth team at the tournament, and the national team.
