She started playing football at the age of 12. The first coach is Khorkov Sergey Nikolaevich.

She played in the following positions: central midfielder, forward.

Previous clubs: Miras, Groza, Rubin (all Kazan), Zvezda 2005 (Perm). Dynamo player – from January 10, 2022. One of the team's top scorers in the 2022 off-season (8 goals). Vice-captain of the club for the 2022 Youth League season.

On April 30, 2022, she scored her first goal for Dynamo in official matches - against the WFC Ryazan-VDV (2:1). You can view it at this link.

On September 24, 2022, she scored the first hat-trick in her career for Dynamo in official matches - against Zvezda 2005 (7:0). Her goal against Lokomotiv (2:1) after an excellent strike from the penalty area was chosen by fans as the best goal of Dynamo in October-November, and the best goal of the entire 2022 season!

In 2022, she was included in the expanded list of the Russian U-21 youth team. In June 2022, she was invited to the training camp of the Russian national team, during which she took part in a friendly match with WFC CSKA (3:1). For 21-year-old Kotelnikova, the meeting was her debut as part of the country's main team.
