Elina is a graduate of Krasnodar football; she began her path to the big game at Sports School No. 1 in Gulkevichi, Krasnodar Territory, under the guidance of her first coach Konstantin Govorunov. From the age of 14 she played for the youth team of the Krasnodar “Kubanochka” (coaches: Tatyana Zaitseva, Natalya Dygai), with which she became the winner of the Russian championship among youth teams of the 2012/13 season.
Elina made her debut in the top league of Russian women's football back in 2011 – as part of the same “Kubanochka” from Krasnodar. But she scored her first goal only 5 years later - on July 9, 2016 against CSKA, which remained her only one in the Krasnodar club. In just 7 seasons at the Kubanochka Sports Club, Samoilova played 82 matches, and together with the club she reached the Russian Cup final three times (2014, 2015, 2016).
In 2018, Elina moved to Lokomotiv Moscow, with whom she achieved her most important successes in football so far: she won the Russian Championship (2021), twice the Cup (2020, 2021) and the Russian Super Cup (2021, 2022), plus silver (2019, 2020) and bronze (2022, 2023) Super League medals.
Since January 2024, he has been a player for Dynamo Moscow. On March 10, 2024, in her debut match for the blue and white, she scored her first goal - from a penalty kick against ZFC Krasnodar (2:0). You can view it at this link.
Based on the results of the fan vote, she was recognized as the best Dynamo player in March 2024; this month Samoilova scored 2 goals in three matches, including Dynamo’s first goal in the 2024 season and the winning goal against Rostov (1:0) .
Elina Samoilova played for Russian national teams of different ages: junior U-17 (3 matches, 2 goals), youth U-19 (38 matches, 1 goal, 3 yellow cards). As part of the student team, she took part in the 2013 Universiade in Kazan, where the Russians took 9th place, and the football player herself played 5 matches. She made her debut in the Russian national team on October 8, 2019 in a qualifying match for the 2022 European Championship against the Netherlands (0:2). In total, Samoilova played 26 games for the country’s main team and received 4 warnings.
